Fortica completes the largest cloud cybersecurity contract with the Government of Quebec with an Azure and Azure Stack hybrid deployment.

Last February, the government announced that 80% of the government data centers would be migrated to the public cloud to remedy its obsolete and non-compliant systems and data centers.

Responding to the government's stringent security standards, Fortica has established itself as a preferred partner to support a government entity in a hybrid Azure and Azure Stack deployment.

Indeed, some of the digital information will be sent to the Azure public cloud while another part will remain on site in an Azure Stack.

The challenge is major because it involves great changes within the government teams, such as concepts and architectural practices as well as in the organization of work and current security operations. This project required a trusted and experienced partner to support the staff at each stage of the project.

That is why Fortica advises the government teams from start to finish: from the preparation of the business case to the transition to operation.

"We are proud to be able to deploy a team of Cloud Azure experts for the realization of this cloud project. It is a significant digital transformation that includes architecture, governance, implementation and transition to operations" said Samuel Bonneau, president of Fortica.

This is the largest government cloud project. It will require Fortica's expertise for 18 months.
